B) Tobias R. Kirstein - Elektro-akustisches Phänomen (2018)
Through his conceptual performances and installations Copenhagen-based sound artist Tobias R. Kirstein explores the act of listening and creating sound as an invisible yet very powerful, sometimes aggressive and territorial act.

"Elektroakustisches Phänomen" is recorded in autumn 2018, composed and compiled by Tobias R. Kirstein at Kunsthøjskolen i Holbæk with a generous contribution from students and teachers. You hear human voices mixing with the sinewaves from tonegenerators filling up and resonating with the studio space.

This tape was released in October 2019 as a part of Radikal Unsichtbar - Centre for collective learning and radical listening ACT8: HOW TO LISTEN TO PILLARS AND THINGS exploring sonic architecture and constructions in sound.
Architecture, pillars and things are results of human culture and civilisation. How does sound shape knowledge, and how does culture shape sound? How does our physical environment and the things around us influence the way we listen, and is it possible to create sonic architecture and constructions in sound?
